A Rotterdam-based UI/UX designer and illustrator with a passion for all things creative, whacky and weird.
Most times you'll find me doing dumb drawing challenges with my friends, outside sketching or with a camera, enjoying an animated movie or making a mess with an arts and crafts project. I'm always keen on learning new tools and skills. I love to collaborate in a team to build new products.
As of now, I'm on the lookout for a new challenge to pour my creativity and energy into. Maybe you wanna build a website or you’r looking for a new in-house designer. Whatever you need reach out and let's create beutifull things together!
A Photoshop copy of questionable legality and an Illustrator.exe that came with a free virus. That’s how Adobe kickstarted my creative journey well over 12 years ago. Having since then familiarised myself with their suite of tools (of actual legality). If you need something made, I’m sure I’ll know the tool for the job. Even having tought both Photoshop and Indesign for muliple years at my uni.
I like keeping up with a range of industry standard tools. But mainly using Figma myself (as a Windows girlie) but also having experience in both Sketch and Adobe xD and abstract. Helping me design intuitive and user-centered experiences, no matter the job.
Eventhough I concider myself a designer, not a dev, I find it important to understand the workflow and challenges of the people that build my ideas. Improving communication clarity within a team and giving me an idea of what I can do to declutter the design pipeline. So I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Having since built not only this portfolio, but also multiple freelance projects.
I have a passion for discovering new software that enhances my creative workflow and expands my skill set. Whether it’s for design, prototyping, or collaboration. I'm also quick to adapt to any specific software a company prefers, allowing me to seamlessly integrate into their processes and contribute effectively from week one.
